TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. RESERVATIONS, AMENDMENTS AND CANCELLATIONS

1.1  RESERVATIONS

All reservations, amendments and cancellations must be made in writing to the guesthouse, failing which such reservation; amendment or cancellation will not be considered binding.

1.2. BLOCK BOOKINGS, ALTERNATE BOOKINGS

120 days or more: If a confirmed booking is received by a 2nd tour operator, the guesthouse has the right to request the first tour operator to reschedule their reservation.                  

                                                                                                                  

90 days or more: If a confirmed booking is received by a 2nd tour operator, the guesthouse has the right to request the first tour operator for some rooms to be released or ask for a rooming list or for a non refundable deposit of 25% of the requested rooms.                                                                          

                                                                                                     

31 days or more: If a rooming list is not more than 50% of the requested rooms, the guesthouse has the right to release half of the original booked rooms or for a non refundable deposit of 25% of the requested rooms.                                                   

30 days: Cancellation fees as per cancellation policy will apply.

 

1.3  CANCELLATIONS

1.4  CANCELLATION POLICY:

• 30 – 22 days prior to arrival date  - 25%

• 21 – 15 days prior to arrival date  - 30%

• 14 – 07 days prior to arrival date  - 50%

• 06 – 03 days prior to arrival date  - 65%

• 02 – 00 days prior to arrival date  - 80%

• Non arrivals and early departures  - 100%

 

2. PAYMENTS

2.1  CREDIT FACILITY HOLDERS

Credit facilities are only extended to approved registered companies upon signature and return of these terms & conditions together with a credit application form. Payments must be done latest 30 days after arrival date!!!                                              

All accounts must be paid within 30 days from the date of invoice, after which the guesthouse may charge interest at the maximum permissible rate of the Usury Act, as amended from time to time.

 

2.2  ALL OTHER TOUR OPERATORS

Payments for services reserved at the STO rates must be received in full by the guesthouse 14 days prior to the scheduled arrival date. Payments can be made by credit card or bank transfer.  If a reservation is made less than 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date, payment must be received within 7 days of placing of such reservation.

Alternatively the guide can also pay at the guesthouse with cash or credit card. Failure to comply with the terms and conditions, the Guesthouse reserves the right to charge the clients on departure.

The onus is on the tour operator to confirm payment details to the guesthouse prior to arrival.                                              

Any queries on invoices must be settled with the accounts department of the guesthouse in writing within 30 days from date of invoice.

3.  CHILDREN POLICY

• 0 – 2 years sharing with full paying adults free accommodation & breakfast

• 3 - 12 years sharing with full paying adults see rate sheet

• Children accommodated in own room full rate.

4.  TOUR GUIDE ROOM RATES

Tour Guide Room: 1 – 15 full paying guests, if only 1 guide - special rate, see rate sheet 15 and more full paying guests; if two guides, then 1st guide special rate, see rate sheet and the 2nd guide complimentary bed & breakfast.

For lunch groups: 

• 01 - 20 persons       1 guide   - meal free of charge

• 21 - 40 persons      2 guides - meal free of charge

• 41 + persons           3 guides - meal free of charge
